On October 14, BBC Radio 2 rebroadcast “The Rory Gallagher Story,” a documentary on the late, great, Irish guitar legend. This programme was originally presented on April 16, 2005 to mark the 10th anniversary of his passing. Hosted by celebrated guitarist, Gary Moore, the documentary includes rare recordings of Rory as well as remembrances from Donal Gallagher, Brian May, Johnny Marr, Martin Carthy, Jack Bruce, Ronnie Drew, and Georgie Fame.
