Rory Gallagher at Rocklife – Cologne, Germany – October 17, 1990
Philipp J. Bösel studied at Middlesex University, in London Film & Video Art & Design. In 1988 he graduated with a Master of Arts (MA) in Computing from in style. Since 1989 he has worked at the WDR, first as graphic designer, and then as web designer and photographer for their Internet department. From 1992-1997 he also taught at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne, where he oversaw the creative and artistic projects of the students. He is also known for his collaboration with Burkhard Maus to produce a meticulously photographed panoramic view of the Berlin Wall, stretching from Bernauer Strasse to Treptower Dammweg.
On October 17, 1990, Philipp J. Bösel attended the concert programme Rocklife in Köln and took pictures of Rory Gallagher & Jack Bruce’s performance.
